Schools across the province are closed for the February break next week.

If you're stressing to find childcare or just looking for a fun way to fill your child's time during the break; you'll be happy to know there are camps available at the Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre.

Brooke Sabourin is the Recreation Programs Supervisor at SLS, and she says that they offer full-day and week-long camps that coincide with the school calendar, and they still have a few spots available for the upcoming break.

Sabourin says "We do have our PD Day Camps running anytime there isn't school. So some schools are closed this Thursday and Friday the 13th and the 14th, and we're also running a week-long camp next week from the 18th to the 21st. Our daily camps cost $59 and our weekly camp costs $188. They are starting to really fill up and we expect that we will hit capacity so it is important to register sooner rather than later."

Sabourin says that they have enthusiastic staff that lead the camps and there are full days of fun activities planned out. She says "We do pretty much everything you can here in the building at the camps so the kids are pretty tired at the end of the day. Climbing, curling, skating, swimming, games on our turf and in our gym, dodgeball, archery tag, circle games and crafts. We keep them busy from the start of camp to the end of camp, so be prepared for some tired kids at the end of the day."

The camps run from 9 am to 4 pm, and free 'before and after' care is also available for participants. Registration can be done online
