Repair work has begun at Cochrane's most iconic landmark.

The Men of Vision statue has been fenced off to the public after it was vandalized last month

Men of Vision

Crews began working on repairing the legs on Wednesday and tell CochraneNow they anticipate their portion of the job to be completed by Monday.

There's no word yet on when the barriers will be open again to the public.

It's estimated that the statue weighs over two tonnes.

It has stood at the top of the hill at the Cochrane Ranche since 1979.
