Work continues along Hwy. 22 and a popular route off the highway is set to close by the end of the month.

"On June 28, Alberta Transportation will be closing access to RR 43 at Hwy. 22 will be permanently closed as it overlaps with the exit and entrance ramps of the new interchange." reads a social media post from the Town of Cochrane.

"The timing of the closure allows the contractor to safely proceed with the required earthworks and drainage construction work in the area."
