IMPORTANT: There still are a few free tickets remaining for today's (June 5) free showing of the Oscar-winner film Driving Miss Daisey at 1 p.m. at the Cochrane Movie House.

The movie is free of charge for those 50 and over and includes a free drink and popcorn.

The cut-off to get your tickets is noon. They are available at FCSS, 209, 2 Ave. W., Seniors on the Bow (SOTB), located upstairs in the SLS Centre, and the Stockmen's Memorial Foundation, in the Cochrane RancheHouse,101 RancheHouse Rd.

This is just one of the many free activities, most of them drop-in, being held all week long as Cochrane continues to embrace our growing seniors community.

Alberta 55 Plus is holding a drop-in mini-seminar, followed by games on the artificial turf of the SLS Centre.
