Kananaskis RCMP is asking drivers to avoid travelling along Highway 40 because of poor road conditions.
We are still under a Snowfall Warning and because of the snow accumulation and poor visibility, driving along that route is dangerous.
The Canmore RCMP is also advising against non-essential travel on Highway 1 West from Exit 114 to the Banff Park Gates.
The RCMP is warning of slippery road conditions with single lane traffic moving in both directions.
Roads in and around Cochrane are listed in poor condition.
