A sudden snow storm this afternoon (September 15th) just east of Cochrane left Highway 1A in treacherous condition and sent several vehicles sliding into the ditch.

The Cochrane RCMP had to respond to several vehicles in the ditch and say that the highway is still in poor condition,

Motorists are advised to use caution when driving through the area.
