It was a successful competition for figure skaters from Cochrane Skating Club.

Fifteen skaters glided, jumped, and spun across the ice at the December 2-4 Edmonton Region Open Competition hosted by the Derrick Skating Club in Edmonton.

Three Junior STARskaters, five intermediate, and seven Senior STARSskaters would receive a number of medals for their performances which attracted skaters from all over the province.
