The leaves are changing, the air is crisper, everything is pumpkin spice flavoured, and Summer 2016 is officially over at 8:21 a.m. today.

The Autumn Equinox happens the moment the Earth's equator passes through the center of the sun, on an equinox, the day and night have appoximately the same duration of 12 hours.

From here on out the days will get shorter and shorter until the Winter Solstice in December, which is the shortest day of the year.

While it may be the end of summer, this weekend's temperatures are expected in the late teens and early twenties, so get out and enjoy it!

And remember, there's only 38 days left until Halloween!
