With Stage Two of Open for Summer happening Thursday, June 10 the province has announced that historical sites and museums will be opening for summer vacation plans to be made. 

As of June 10, The Provincial Archives of Alberta and The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology will open.

Wednesday, June 16 the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre, Remington Carriage Museum and Royal Alberta Museum will be open for business. 

Saturday, June 19 the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village opens.

Monday, June 21 Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump will open.

Wednesday, June 23 Reynolds-Alberta Museum will receive visitors.

Of course, all facilities will be following health guidelines in order to keep the public safe. Masks are mandatory in all indoor public spaces.

You are encouraged to check ahead as some facilities are using timed ticketing in order to allow for reduced visitor capacity and physical distancing. 

Therefore, booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment.
