Cochrane residents are being asked to roll up their sleeves and help clean up our town this weekend for the annual Clean Up Cochrane event.

Participants are encouraged to take part from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 27 at any of the 19 clean up locations throughout town.

All sites will have garbage bags on hand and a labelled drop off area where the garbage will be collected by the town when the event is over.

“Clean Up Cochrane is an opportunity for us as a community to be more environmentally conscious, create active community members that care and, ultimately, build a better Cochrane,” says Mitchell Hamm, Community Services Director, Town of Cochrane. “Many hands make light work and when we get together incredible things can be accomplished.”

Residents are responsible for bringing their own gloves.
