In her daily address Wednesday, April 8, Dr. Deena Hinshaw said, "That Calgary has had a higher percent positive rate in lab testing and this has persisted even with the change in our testing this past week. In order to get as much information as possible to reduce spread in that area we are expanding testing effective immediately to include all residents of the Calgary Zone (which includes Cochrane) who have a cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat or shortness of breath."

If you are experiencing these symptoms, you should use the online Alberta Health Services Assessment Tool as the way to access testing. This is the pathway to booking a test.
