In the past 24 hours, 50 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed across the province.

COVID numbers had been on a downward trend, and this is the highest increase that Alberta has seen in close to a month.

Although Alberta is seeing a spike in confirmed cases, hospitalization rates across the province continue to be low.

Forty-six people currently being treated in hospital, seven of which are in intensive care units.

The Cochrane -Springbank area continues to have no active cases and has had 17 recoveries to date.

There have been no new Covid-19 related deaths in the province in the last 24 hours.
