Sadly, three more Albertans have died from COVID-19 over the weekend, bringing the total number of deaths in the province to 23.

69 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, which now brings the total number of confirmed cases in the province to

1, 250.

Of these cases, there are currently 48 people in hospital, of which 13 have been admitted to intensive care units (ICU) and 

152 cases are suspected of being community-acquired.

The Calgary Zone remains the hardest affected area, reporting 774 cases, and there have been 15 confirmed cases in the Cochrane-Springbank area 

The number of Albertans who have recovered from COVID-19 has also grown. The recent update reports a total of 279 recoveries across the province which is 39 more in 24 hours.
