Cochrane RCMP are investigating two separate vehicle theft incidents resulting in three stolen cars.

Two vehicles were taken in the first incident, which occurred Sunday Aug. 14 at a residence on Woodland Ridge. A stolen 2011 Dodge Journey was recovered less than a kilometre away from the residence, however, a white 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Alberta License plate BCV 1971 remains missing.

Someone in the residence did hear a noise around two in the morning on Sunday, and noticed a truck in the driveway, but could not get a description.

The second vehicle theft occurred sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Sunday Aug. 14, and 7:40 a.m. today. 

A white 2016 Ford F150 was taken from Gleneagles Close, the truck has an Alberta License plate BVK 2776, the truck has a bumper sticker on it that reads "Don't Blame Me I Didn't Vote NDP".

Cochrane RCMP do not believe these two incidents are related.

If anyone sees these vehicles occupied, RCMP advises not to approach but to call 911 right away.  If anyone sees these vehicles unoccupied, call the complaint line at 403-932-2211 and do not approach or disturb it.
