A few days after the Tim Bannister Memorial Rink was temporarily shut down due to warm weather, the rink has been flooded, resurfaced, and is now open as of Friday afternoon.

All outdoor rinks in Cochrane are now open. Residents are being reminded that the storm ponds around town are never suitable for skating.  Road salts enter the ponds and can compromise the ice surface.

You're encouraged to call the 24-hour status line before you head out to skate. 403-851-2552
