Team Crough lost both of their games yesterday but remains ranked fourth in the Alberta Scotties.

They lost 8-1 to the top Casey Scheidegger rink in an afternoon draw, then fell 9-2 against Adele Kezama-Purcell in the evening.

Today, they face the Melissa Pierce rink in their final game of the preliminary round.

Elysa Crough's rink includes Cochrane curler Julianna MacKenzie. They're the youngest team competing for the Alberta women's championship.

The Casey Scheidegger rink, of Lethbridge, remains the only undefeated team heading into today's play. The team faces the number two ranked Kelsey Rocque rink in their final game before playoffs.

The winning team advances to the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Thunder Bay, ON, Jan. 28 to Feb. 6.
