Cochrane On-demand Local Transit has received recognition from the prestigious Hermes Creative Awards for logo design and marketing planning.

The COLT logo design and graphics package won gold, while the COLT launch marketing campaign won platinum.

“We are proud of COLT, our innovative approach to transit,” states Mayor Jeff Genung in a news release. “I am especially proud that our own communications department was able to produce the branding and logo in house, it is great to see them recognized at such a high level for their work.”

Hermes Creative Awards recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional and emerging media. The awards receive over 6,00 entries from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers in the United States, Canada and dozens of other countries.

The COLT logo, graphics package, and launch marketing plan were all developed inhouse by the town’s communications team.

Each year, Hermes' judges evaluate the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, and advertising, marketing and communication programs.
