A replica gun, drugs and cash are among the items seized during a traffic stop north east of Cochrane last week.

RCMP pulled over a vehicle along Highway 566 at around 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 5.

Mounties say the driver was breaching his curfew and was arrested for breaching conditions. 

While the driver was stopped, officers searched the vehicle. 

They found and seized these items:

  • Fentanyl - 82.5 Grams

  • Cocaine - 35 Grams

  • Methamphetamine - 150 Grams

  • $830 Cash

  • Replica Glock 19

  • 40 cal round, 9mm round, 7.62 round and a handgun shell casing

  • The vehicle was also seized as offence related property.

Thirty-seven year old Francisco Sanchez of Calgary has been charged with eight offences including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.

 

Sanchez has been remanded into custody and will appear in Airdrie Provincial court on Friday.
