Two Cochrane schools have been added to the province's COVID-19 School Status Map.

RancheView School is currently under 'watch' status, meaning that there are five or more cases where disease could have been acquired or transmitted in the school, and Cochrane High has now been declared as having an outbreak.

Any school with two to four cases of COVID-19 qualifies as an outbreak by Alberta Health Services definition.

In order for a school to be listed on the provincial school status map, the facility must have an outbreak of at least two confirmed cases.

The outbreak map is updated Monday to Friday and can be found here.
