Cochrane RCMP says three people thus far have been charged in relation to an automotive chop shop discovered in Morley last Thursday (March 22).

After spending most of the day on the scene as they executed a search warrant on Friday (March 23), RCMP has released names and charges in relation to the investigation.

Constable Kary Moore, says it will take some time before rightful owners are matched with their property.

"Currently we're in the process of returning the stolen items that were recovered to their rightful owners it can take some time as we process the items. If we're unable to identify the owners for certain items we will then send out a further media release asking if anyone recognizes the items. Recovered in the chop shop were obviously vehicles, firearms, electronics, car parts as well as tools, so it will take us a bit of time to sort those out."
