According to the AHS website,  Bow Valley High School is still reporting over ten active cases of COVID-19 and remains in an outbreak status. However, according to a letter received by parents on Friday, March 12 from the school, no new cases of COVID-19 have been reported since Saturday, March 6.

Students and staff who have been isolating due to exposure to the virus should be able to begin returning to in-class learning starting today (Monday, March 15) and tomorrow (Tuesday, March 16).

In the letter Principal, Jim Reilly thanked all the substitute teachers who filled during the isolation period which enabled the school to continue with in-class learning over the two-week period.

Again, he reminds all families to go through the daily checklist before returning kids to school.

Cochrane High, Elizabeth Barrett Elementary School, and Fireside School are all under the alert status which means having reported 2-4 cases.

On Thursday March 11, Fireside School had confirmed one case and another letter was sent to parents on Friday stating that there had been two or more cases at the school.
