Update: RCMP re-route Highway 1 traffic due to fatal hit and run

Canmore RCMP are on scene of a fatal pedestrian hit and run. A 20-year-old female Canmore resident was declared deceased at the scene.

East bound traffic along Highway 1 continues to be re-routed from the Information Center onto Bow Valley Trail.

There is currently no timeline as to when the area will reopen to traffic.
