Cochrane Classic Bull Riding was a huge success this past Saturday evening (August 19).

The bleachers were packed with people who came to cheer on the riders riding some of the rankest bulls.

The AG grounds provided a new locale for organizer, Jason Borton, and he was thrilled with the turn out. "I think that's our biggest crowd ever. The good weather, seeing everybody out there, it was great seeing Cochrane come out like that."

Organizing an event like this is just not possible without the may sponsors that make it all possible, and feedback so far has been great. "Rob from Cochrane Dodge and Steve Bauer from Mr. Mikes they were just so happy to be part of it."

Borton shares the riders got in five rides over the 3 hour event. "It was better than years past, I think last year they only rode two bulls and this year they rode 5. We had great bulls there."

Looking forward to 2018, Borton imagines the AG grounds will be a new home for the event for years to come.
