The Cochrane Fair held at the Cochrane and District Agricultural Society Grounds was a huge success.

Thousands of people came through the gates over the three day event held August 19-21.

Isabel Gimber, Director on the Cochrane and District Agricultural Society board says the fair brought the awareness the board wanted to create.

"Our mission for our Ag Society is to bridge urban and rural for a stronger community. We really feel we have provided a lot of fun opportunities here this weekend as well as a lot of learning activities about our rural community."

There was something for everyone at the Cochrane Fair whether you loved rides, the Extreme Cowboy, or walking around the marketplace full of vendors.

The Ag Society looks forward to doing it all over again in 2017.
