The snow and cooler temperatures have proven to be helpful in the fight against the Devil's Head wildfire.

The fire is now classified as being held.

According to the Municipal District of Bighorn, the wildfire is not expected to grow past its expected boundaries.

Fire crews are continuing to fight the fire by extinguishing hotspots and using helicopters with buckets when needed.

The wildfire was 3624 hectares but has now decreased in size to about 2416 hectares.

The fire was started by an abandoned campfire and has been burning for a month.
