Firefighters from Redwood Meadows and Rocky View County responded to a 911 fire call at around 5 a.m.Thursday, September 16 in West Bragg Creek.

Fire Chief for Redwood Meadows Emergency Services, Rob Evans says crews were dispatched, “To report of a single-family dwelling with flames on the outside of the building. We called for extra help just based on 911 calls and the amount of flames that were showing by the caller's information.”

Upon arrival, crews found the house fully involved in fire. Evans says, “We were able to establish a pretty good water supply from a lake in the community and crews did a really good job of knocking the fire down. Unfortunately, the home is a total loss.”

Thankfully, there were no injuries, and everyone got out safely.

The fire remains under investigation with Rocky View County investigators.
