Ground crews are en route to fight a wildfire 25km west of Benchlands in the MD of Bighorn.

The wildfire is in the forest reserve near the base of Blackrock Mountain and people in the area should keep up-to-date with the evolving situation.

No structures are at risk at this time.

Benchlands is located 28 km northwest of Cochrane.
