UPDATE: The notice of motion included in the Apr. 24 council meeting agenda has been tabled until the next council meeting. Councillors Marni Fedeyko and Tara McFadden were absent from the meeting.
Tonight's town council meeting includes a notice of motion by Councillor Patrick Wilson on council and administration expenses.
He's asking council to consider having administration propose updates to policies related to the expenses of Cochrane's mayor, council, and administration.
It would also include providing recommendations for best practices on conference, travel & training budgets, and online expense reporting.
Should council support the motion, Wilson wants to see it completed in time for implementation in in the 2024 budget.
