The April race of Extreme Cowboy Alberta (ECA) saw two multiple winners from its eight events.
Jim Wilson, of Caroline, continued to be a dominant force in the Nonpro, Ride Smart and Pro categories and Ariana Gray won both the youth and intermediate categories.
Other winners were: Brady Hambrook, Young Guns; Kimberly Darling, novice; Austin Northcott, beginner youth; and Christina Hambrook, Green Horse.
The April race was the second of the season at the indoor arena of the Cochrane and District Ag Society and was sold out. Interest continues to surge in the sport and ECA president Rick Wickland has been encouraging participants to register early to avoid disappointment.
It's also a crowd pleaser and admission is free of charge.
The May races are just around the corner. They run 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 6 and participants can earn double points. About half of the spots are already filled.
