I love camping. It is hands down my #1 favourite thing to do in the summertime.

But, I'll admit I'm a little spoiled and I'm also a fair weather camper.

I have a trailer with heat and running water.

This keeps me free and clear from the cold, mosquitoes, stumbling around to find the bathroom in the middle of the night, sleeping on the ground and having loud partying neighbours keeping me up all night.

With COVID-19 restrictions and limited things to do this winter, there's apparently an uptick in the amount of Albertan's winter camping this year.

My first gut reaction to that idea is a big NO. But, I feel like if I could park my trailer somewhere with beautiful scenery and someone could ensure me that the heat would keep working, then I think I could give it a whirl. Winter camping in a tent however, not a chance.

Would you do it? Have you done it? Are you a fan of winter camping?
