Were you outside in just a t-shirt yesterday? Maybe even shorts?

It was definitely warm enough to do that.

We set a warm temperature record yesterday when the mercury at Springbank Airport reached 17 C at 4 p.m.

That's up half a degree from the 16.5 C set back in 1992.

Records were broken in other parts of the province yesterday as well. In Calgary at the YYC International Airport it reached 18.7 C, surpassing the old record of 16.7 C set in 1910.

Lethbridge reached a high of 20.1 C, beating the old record of 19.3 C set in 2015.

And Drumheller’s temperature rose to 18.9 C, a couple of degrees warmer than the record 16.9 C, set in 2015.

What a change from one year ago when it was -19 C in Cochrane.
