The Cochrane Chaos have now won five games straight after beating the Irma Chargers in a close 1-0 defensive battle on the road, Dec. 3.

The Chaos continue to take on the top teams in both the north and south conference of the Alberta Female Junior Hockey League (AFJHL) and remain second in the standings in the south with an 11-3 record.

Sunday's win came on a goal by Kirsten Mumby from Melanie Scholtz. It was also the second straight shutout for goalie Jenna Weseen, who now boasts a 2.14 GAA and .916 percentage save, the third best in the south division. The Chaos outshot their oipponents 45-29,

Their third matchup against the south leading Central Alberta Amazons is on the road this Saturday and another defensive battle is anticipated. The teams have split their first two games in low-scoring outings.

This coming Sunday, Dec. 10, they return to Totem One to face the Calgary Warriors. The puck drops at 5 p.m.
