The U14B Cochrane Rockies have become the second ringette team this season to win their Big Country Zone 2 banner.

The U14B Rockies downed Indus on Mar. 8 to claim the banner. It follows on the footsteps of a zone championship for the U12B team.

The U14B team won the Big Country Zone 2 banner on Friday night against Indus.

The U19B Rockies are off to the provincials in Fort McMurray, Mar. 22-24 after becoming one of the three teams advancing from the south playdown, Mar. 1-2. They'll be joining both the Strathmore Ice and the South Calgary Wild, four teams from the north division and the host team in the provincial tournament.

Last year, the Cochrane A/C Thunder won the silver medal.

The 19A Rockies team placed fifth in the Mar. 1-3 provincials host by Calgary. The South Calgary Blaze won the provincial title by downing Edmonton in the gold medal game, 3-1.
