The underage Cochrane Toros continue to dominate their opponents in the Calgary North Baseball League.

The senior boys team made the jump to the older league designed for midget players, ages 17 to 19, and are still on the hunt for some stiff competition. Perhaps they'll get it tonight, May 15, in Canmore.

Last week they beat Calgary's Bowridge, 17-5, on the road before winning their home opener at South Rodeo, 21-2, in a game that was called after five innings.

That makes it three straight to open the season.

Still, head coach Paul Vaillancourt doesn't want his team to get overconfident.

"Maybe there's a bunch of good teams coming," says Vaillancourt.

The Toros are largely formed of 15-16 year olds with a core that has played together for years and won three championships in the last five seasons, including the District 3 (Calgary and area) championship last season.
