Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre (SLSFSC) is offering community members a day of activity.

Normally families would have to pay drop-in rates per activity but on Family Day, one price lets you try all.

MJ Stead, SLSFSC, Guest Services Supervisor, says for $15 your whole family can be physically active all day long.

"It gets your family access to all activities, excluding gymnastics as they are run by the U of C. We have bouncers going for 2-10 year olds in hourly sessions, we have family basketball, pickelball, and floor hockey. We have public skating, sticks and pucks, and sticks and rings. We have the RCMP versus Firefighters hockey game at 2 pm (with a donation to the food bank), we have the Cochrane Young Singers singing O' Canada, we have several demonstrations going on."

Cochrane BMX, Cochrane Minor Soccer, Bow Valley Rugby Club, and traditional karate will all have booths with information regarding programming and registration along with demos being done.

Stead says it as a great opportunity to not only experience new sports but bring people together.

"Family Day the last three years has been really busy down here, it's more about bringing families together and community."

The annual event will take place 10 am to 4 pm on February 20.
