The Calgary Titans came out flying but weren't able to put a dent in the Cochrane Chaos armour. Feb. 2.

In their final home game of the regular season, the Chaos were 3-1 winners and maintained a grip on first place in the nine-team league.

The play was turbulent and the Titans used their aggressive style to attempt to keep the Chaos off the scoreboard. The Chaos took a 1-0 lead into the second after a sluggish start. The Titans tied it up 13 minutes into the period and that seems to set the Chaos in high gear. Cochrane scored two goals in about a minute to take a 3-1 lead. There was no scoring in the third.

Scoring for the Chaos were Brette Matheson, Breanna Martin and Kaylin Herman. Herman also had an assist and other helpers went to Kiera Davidson, Karley Dwyer, Faith Gette, Summer Gibbons and Jenna Wasylik.

Saturday's game against the Calgary Warriors was postponed due to poor road conditions.

Winding down the regular season, the Chaos have two games this weekend, taking on the Calgary Warriors on Saturday before heading to Lethbridge on Sunday.

The playoff schedule should be known shortly after the weekend. If they finish first in the league, they'll have home ice advantage through the playoffs.
