The Heritage Junior Hockey League season didn't get off to the start the Cochrane Generals were hoping for last night (September 22). 

Despite outshooting their opposition 44 - 31 the Gens were crushed 10 - 3 by the Oilers in Okotoks.

Cochrane will hope for a better showing in their second road game of the weekend tonight when they travel to Strathmore to face the Wheatland Kings.

Game time is 8:00 pm.
