After coming out of the gate rather slowly this Heritage Junior Hockey League season, the Cochrane Generals have turned things around and have now won four straight games and have climbed to the top of the league's Southern Division.

Yesterday at the Spray Lake Sawmill Family Sports Centre the Generals got a pair of goals from Talus Hume on their way to a 5 - 2 win over the Strathmore Wheatland Kings.

Austin Keller, Walid Hassin and Harry Osler scored the other goals for the Generals who outshot the Kings 43 - 26.

With the win the Generals improve to 4 and 2 on the season and hold down first place in the Southern Division with eight points, one point up on Strathmore.

The next game for the Generals is on Saturday night when they play host to Blackfalds at 7:30 pm.
