In the fans' eyes, the Cochrane Generals are playing some great hockey.

The boys are headed into game 4 in a 2-1 deficit against the Red Deer Vipers; while the team played a great game Saturday winning 5-2, they lost to the Vipers Sunday 5-4.

Dan Gendur, Head Coach, says although the game on Sunday was a good game they just couldn't pull off the win.

"I think that is just the way playoff hockey is. We ran into some penalty trouble and they seemed to capitalize on all our mistakes. We have to head to Red Deer now on Thursday and win a hockey game and force game 5 back here on Saturday."

Gendur says although the boys have been playing hard they all need to pull together.

"Chad Harrison has really stepped up his play in the last two games but we need all 20 guys to step on the ice to contribute somehow. It doesn't always have to be on the score sheets but it's going to be a tough test."

The team will squeeze in one more practice tonight (March 21) before they head to Red Deer's Collicutt Centre for puck drop at 7:30 pm on Thursday (March 23).

The stands were packed last night and Gendur says it great to see everyone come out and show their support.

"Our whole goal is to have that same atmosphere on Saturday back here for game 5."
