Cochrane’s Tanner Milan struck gold in Strathmore winning the Steer Wrestling event with a time of 3.8 seconds in the final run while Airdrie’s Jake Vold finished third overall in Bareback riding with a score of 87.75. Orin Larsen from Inglis, Manitoba won the Bareback title with a score of 89.5.

Several athletes are up north in La Crete for the Field of Dreams Stampede which began last evening (August 7th) and will wrap up tonight.
