The Cochrane Chaos junior female hockey team have one game left in their regular season before starting their playoff run.

Tomorrow, Feb. 20, the Chaos face the Calgary Warriors in a makeup game at the Cochrane Arena. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.

That game will determine if the Chaos will finish first or second in the south conference and whether they will get the valued home ice advantage throughout the playoffs.

Either way, the first and second round are best-of-three series. The conference semifinals of the AJHL scheduled to be completed by Feb. 28 and the conference finals will be played the first two weeks of March. The league finals between north and south finalists follows and it's a best-of-five series.

On the Feb. 10-11 weekend, the Chaos won a pair of games on the road. They beat the Calgary Warriors, 7-1, before heading to Lethbridge, where they downed the Eagles, 5-3.

No matter what happens, the Eagles were squeezed out of the playoff picture by the fourth place Warriors, who have a 6-21-2 record.

The Chaos currently sit second with a 23-4 record and a game in hand against the Central Alberta Amazons. A win Tuesday will assure them of first place and an opening series against the Warriors.

In the north conference, the Sherwood Park have wrapped up first place with an 18-10-3 record while the Edmonton Wolves lag just two points behind.
