The Cochrane Cobras byed their way into the semifinals of the Rocky View Sports boys soccer division playoffs and face W. H. Croxford this Tuesday on the Cochrane Rangers Field.

The Cobras went undefeated this season with four wins and two ties and earned a bye from the quarterfinals.

With the Croxford Cavaliers going 1-3-2 in the regular season, the Cobras are favoured to win the match. Win or lose, both teams will be playing at Monkland Fields in Airdrie on Tuesday, June 5 for a shot at a medal.

Meanwhile, the Bow Valley Bobcats had a strong start to their season but faced their share of challenges coming down the home stretch. After finishing tied for second in regular season play they bowed out to Airdrie's George McDougall Mustangs, 4-3, in the quarterfinals.

Regardless, all teams have a chance to win the ASAA south central zone championship and possibly advance to the provincials. Bow Valley High School is hosting the zone championship, June 6 to 7.
