Looking for a fun way to get into the Halloween spirit?!

Four fast moving fitness instructors at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre (SLSFSC) will have you dancing and sweating for a free hour of fun this Saturday (October 27).

Hosting one of Cochrane's only family Halloween events, Programs Supervisor, Tara Greene says they are encouraging all ages to come out and get moving. "It is a family event for all ages, so kids adults, men, women, and seniors. We have tried to target all different ages through the songs we have picked for Halloween and it will be a lot of fun."

The hour of free Zumba also has a community component to it, shares Fitness Instructor Stephenie Marrello. Instead of asking participants to pay, SLSFSC is encouraging community members to help stock the shelves of our local food bank. "We are a community and we want to be recognized as a community that supports other people within that community despite their income level."

Zombie Zumba will be lead by Greene, Marrello, Alison Warnock, and Marion James. So grab your runners, water bottle and non-perishable food donations and head to SLSFSC from 2 to 3 pm for some spooktacular fun.
