Tyler Wong of Cochrane has gone from being a member of the Chicago Wolves to a less fearsome kind of hockey playing animal.

Wong has become a Mallard, as in the Quad City Mallards.

Quad City is an affiliate for both the Wolves of the American Hockey League and the Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL.

Wong played nine games with the Wolves this season, scoring one goal, before being loaned to the Mallards.  He made his debut with the club on November 11th and picked up an assist in a 5 - 3 win over the Indy Fuel.

Wong scored his first goal for the Mallards on November 14th during a 5 - 2 loss to the Cincinnati Cyclones.
