There were more vehicle break ins in the overnight period last night (August 22).

Cochrane RCMP, Constable Kary Moore, says so far there have been reports of four vehicles being entered; two in the area of West Pointe and two others in Bow Ridge.

"It is confirmed with the owners of the vehicles that 3 of the 4 vehicles were left unlocked and they left items of value in the vehicle."

There were a number of easily picked up and taken items from the vehicles and Cst. Moore wants to remind residents to keep your valuables safeguarded.

"Remove all valuables from your vehicle, certainly put everything out of sight, and lock your vehicles as well."

While there was surveillance turned in form the West Pointe neighbourhood but the quality was not high enough,
