The highly anticipated playplace Too Cool Beans is open for business.

For Rob and Kimberly Miller the centre is being warmly welcomed and applauded for opening it's doors in Cochrane. Opening day was April 7, and Miller shares despite a slower day on Easter Sunday business has been terrific, "it certainly met our expectations and maybe even exceeded. The theme of it all was people were pleasantly surprised by the size of the play structure and the feedback we got was parents just appreciative of how clean we keep the place, other people just noting small things in observance really and noting some of the safety things we did; so lots of praise, lot of good stuff."

A play centre has been on many Cochrane parents wish list for a number of years;  although many contemplated opening a place, the Miller's took a leap of faith and researched what they liked about other comparable businesses. "In our travels as a family and taking our children to other play centres whether it be in Calgary, Red Deer, or Edmonton and just sort of paying attention to what we thought, as parents and as consumers, what was good and what could be improved upon."

Besides fun, cleanliness and safety are two of Too Cool Beans top priorities and Miller shares no matter what it takes they will remain at the top of the list.

"If it became a challenge it would just mean more staffing and more assistance because I don't think that we'll ever let that focus or standard of cleanliness down. When Kim and I were entertaining this the three things that came to mind as a parent were safety, security, and cleanliness and if we could provide all these things in a gift wrapped fun environment then we believe people would be generally content. Maintaining those standards will be paramount as we move forward."

The centre is open daily 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and a focus will be placed on not only offering a community amenity but being ingrained in the Cochrane community in all ways.

"Even just our partnership with The Boot and we're going to continue to talk to other local business about how we can assist each other whether it be through promotion or just through products, it is something that Kimberly and I believe in; we love Cochrane, it's why we moved here."
