The Cochrane Business Network (CBN) is hosting their 'Evening Mixer' event tomorrow night (April 9) at the Canadian Brewhouse.

While the group is known for its breakfast meetings, Shelly Kramer, Manager for CBN shares they find their evening meet up is always a success as some businesses are unable to join the morning meetings. "We always find that we get different people coming out than what we normally do to the breakfast meetings and it is a great way to target those people that mornings just don't work for."

Over the past couple of years, they have seen upwards sixty business representatives attend the evening gathering, and Kramer shares they are once again looking forward to seeing a good sized crowd.

Tomorrow night's mixer is not just for business owners, says Kramer, it is all about relationship building and sharing information. "It is not just targeted towards business owners but anybody who is involved and does business. Networking is a vital piece of everybody's business and the biggest benefit is just meeting people. There's always an opportunity to speak about your business and just making those relationships that could always turn into business dealings in the future. Looking at it from both sides, you meet people that you would like to support, and in turn, they support you. Networking is the biggest benefit of this and making those relationships."

In a smaller centre like Cochrane, events like these are also a great way to learn what services are available here locally. "We do have a lot of clients that can use various businesses in town and we can all share those networks."

The Evening Mixer will run from 4 to 7 in the evening and while you can pre-register by going HERE, you can also pay a slightly higher ticket price ($20) at the door.

Your ticket into the event will include not only great networking but also one free drink and appetizers at the Canadian Brewhouse located in the Quarry.
