An info session is being held this evening (June 14) to preview an interim access configuration .

Melcor Developments and consultants will be providing preliminary information to community members regarding interim and future access to the Ridge.

In order for the Sunset Ridge community to be completed a second full access is required. This access will affect the existing View Ridge connection onto the highway and would remain in place until the RVC road network is constructed (north of the town boundary).

It is believed, the interim access solution will benefit existing residents; offering acceleration/deceleration lanes, formalized and aligned intersections, and is contained within the Alberta Transportation Road Right of Way. While Alberta Transportation is accepting of the interim solution, the information session will provide an opportunity for community members to ask any questions and and review the existing and proposed transportation framework.

The information session will be held at the Cochrane RancheHouse from 5:30-7:30 pm.
