Polling stations have officially closed in Airdrie, Cochrane and all across Alberta.

Polling stations will soon start counting the votes and the first results will be out soon.

AIR 91.5 in Cochrane and the Cochrane Now news centre are hosting a special election show that’s on the air right now.

Claire Spencer is on the radio waves and will be joined by Mayor Peter Brown from Airdrie to discuss the results and the impacts for the Town of Cochrane and other communities.

In Airdrie-Cochrane, Marni Fedeyko is at the returning office in Cochrane, to provide us with up to date information on the poll results.

Noel Edey will be covering the election night get-togethers being held in Cochrane for the local candidates.

Leah Murray is stationed at Airdrie-East incumbent UCP candidate Angela Pitt’s appreciation event in Airdrie.

Grayden Racine is at the Airdrie returning office to bring us the most up to date results from Airdrie-East polls.

Leanne Allison is up in Olds covering the riding of Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills which includes the towns of Crossfield and Carstairs.

Our reporters Keith Leask and Sam Pike will be manning the Cochrane Now and Discover Airdrie News Centers and posting the latest information for your convenience.
