With construction going full tilt along Griffin Road near the Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sport Centre (SLSFSC), the town is asking pedestrians to stay clear of the road and instead use pathways.

The realignment of Griffin Rd. is well underway as the town prepared for the long anticipated new bridge across the Bow River, but that means heavy equipment is being operated from the Griffin Industrial Point to the rec centre and it's unsafe to walk along the road. Instead, the town points to two pathways that allow safe travel.

There may be slight delays, but motorists will continue to have access to the SLSFSC during road construction.
